BCLS invites the communities of Dorchester to attend a free workshop and discussion on the impact of mass incarceration on the black community. The discussion will be framed around The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander.

Participants will be encouraged to discuss personal experiences as well as collectively thinking and acting upon the urgency of prison reform.
The discussion /workshop will be facilitated by Massachusetts School of Law graduate, Joyce Angela Jellison, J.D. Founder and Director of BCLS.
