Students Against White Supremacy at SSU

October 7, 2017 @ 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Racism and White Supremacy has been tolerated at Salem State University for far too long. Last week a person decided to spraypaint racist grafitti on the benches and fences of our baseball field. This latest incident, while bad, is nothing new, and symbolizes the ongoing climate of racism, discrimination and white supremacy that SSU administration has encouraged. It’s time to hold university administration accountable for the many, many ways they have worked to uphold white supremacy. So we ask you to please join us to march in solidarity in support of students of color on October 7th at 12PM. We will be meeting in front of the School of Social Work. Then we will march to the baseball field. Please email [email protected] to help us solidify our demands for change.
