42 Charles St
Sticky Rice Project is calling for a new working group to build curriculum around the history of queer and gender variant/trans API identities with narratives around queer and gender variant resistance and the impact of queer API analysis on contemporary politics. This working group is open to all who identify as API, but queer and gender variant API voices will be prioritized. We understand that not all queer and gender variant people feel safe enough to be visible in this manner, and we welcome folks of all identities (spoken or not) in the space. If you would like to contribute to the working group remotely or contribute in some other capacity, please reach out!
Dinner will be provided. If you are interested in coming to this first meeting please RSVP to [email protected] with any food restriction/allergies/requests or with any questions.
The meeting will take place at Viet-Aid community center at 42 Charles Street, Dorchester in Suite D (Second floor, take a right from stairs or elevator). The building is wheelchair accessible. If you require childcare or any other accessibility information, please reach out and we can work together to accomodate!
