FREE SUMMER FAMILY ART WORKSHOP SERIES
The Power of Our Stories: Paint Something That Matters
with teaching artist Rob Peters (Mashpee Wampanoag)
Tuesdays July 18, 25 and August 1, 8 (+ optional fieldtrip)
5:30 – 7:30pm (light supper at 5:30)
Workshops FREE for children ages 5–13 with & without disabilities. Parents, grandparents & friends welcome! (ALL children must be accompanied by a family member or guardian). English/Spanish, wheelchair-accessible.
Paint & decorate a 3-dimensional “found object” you care about, to express why it’s important to you! Learn & reflect on different cultures’ storytelling traditions; share your artistically-transformed item’s story!
