Hailed as a hero by some in the Puerto Rican Independence movement and referred to as the equivalent of Puerto Rico’s Nelson Mandela, Oscar Lopez Rivera will be coming to Hartford on Tuesday June 20th, to thank the people of Connecticut for their efforts in supporting his release! Please join us for this once in a lifetime event to hear from Oscar himself.
Hartford CT was one of the cities in New England to pass a Resolution supporting his release, initially introduced by City Councilwoman Wildaliz Bermudez and Councilman Julio Concepcion, supported by all of the members of Hartford’s Court of Common Council, including CT State Representative Edwin Vargas.
This event is the first in a New England tour.
