One day before the Anniversary of the Death of Eric Garner the DOJ decided to not prosecute nor charge Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the Homicide. Eric Garner’s daughter Erica died fighting for his life. Today his surviving daughter Emerald Snipes Garner stated ” Keep Your Condolences and Fire this officer. No Justice No Peace!” Pantaleo is still actively employed on the New York City streets.
Currently 108 people have been Shot in the city of Boston since the beginning of 2019. Boston Police in 2018 were found to have a 90% homicide solve rate with White Victims since 2007. But only 42% with Black Victims full account for the vast majority of the Cities killings. 254 out of 435 homicides with black victims remain unsolved in Boston today. Of the 57 with white victims only 6 are unsolved.
There have been 18 People shot in 6 Days in the City of Boston from July 3rd to July 9th. Terrance Coleman was killed October 30th 2016 in front of his mom inside her home by the Boston Police Department even though they were fully aware of his mental illness.Burell Ramsey-White 26 year old man was shot and killed by the Boston Police Department a block from his home on August 21st 2012. No conviction happen in either of these cases and in fact and the shooting involving Burell the gun that was retrieved that the police tried to say was his did not have his fingerprints. I know you’re probably asking what is the correlation🤔
The correlation is the lack of concern and regard for Black Lives by police departments across this country including in the city of Boston. Eric Garner had video footage and still no conviction. If you’re tired like I’m tired then it’s time for us to make our voices heard. No Justice No Peace!
Join us as we gather outside of Madison Park High School on Friday July 19th at 6 p.m. and then we will walk over to Police Headquarters and rally outside of Headquarters.
