Newly Updated for both Zully Palacios of Migrant Justice and Fatema Ahmad of Muslim Justice League – a must see panel!

>Zully Palacios, an active leader with Migrant Justice who has been involved in the national movement for immigrant rights and food justice. Earlier this year, she was unfairly targeted by ICE for her important human rights work alongside other organizers from Migrant Justice. Over ten thousand people signed a petition demanding their release, and on March 27, hundreds of activists in Boston gathered outside the Immigration Court asking for justice on their behalf.

>Beto Sanchez, Organizer with Migrant Justice Vermont

>Nadeem Mazen, two-term Cambridge City Councillor

>Fatema Ahmad, Organizer with Muslim Justice League with background in working on intersections of latinx, Muslim, and Black immigration social justice

No Ban! No Wall! Come hear from these incredible activists on their experiences as migrants and as organizers in a country rife with disagreement. Each speaker will have an individual speaking time before a group dialogue in which audience members are invited to ask questions and participate. You are invited to share your thoughts and experiences with the hope that all participants leave with more knowledge on the subjects of immigration, migrant justice, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and intersectionality in activism.

There will be an open dialogue followed by a question and answer. Free refreshments will be provided by Food for Activists.

This event is hosted by Coalition to Organize and Mobilize Boston Against Trump and is supported by Justicia Migrante and Boston May Day Coalition.
