Massachusetts Bail Fund Annual Fundraiser

December 17, 2017 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Massachusetts Bail Fund

Please join us at our Annual Fundraiser!

Donation suggestion of $10-$40 at the door but no one will be turned away. $40 is the fee we pay for every single bail we post at the jails. It’s non-refundable and since 2013, we have spent $30,000.00 in this fee alone.

Please RSVP at the ticketing link above.

2017 has been a transformative year for the bail fund. We joined a network of over 30 grassroots bail funds accross the country, to share knowledge and to work on a plan for what’s next in the pre-trial abolition landscape. We partnered with local community organizations to do bailouts in places and at times that were new to us. We used our experience and knowledge to advocate against terrible expansions of bail in Massachusetts and to push for ways Massachusetts can actually do better and be better. We posted our 800th bail and passed the $300,000 mark.

Come talk with us about the people you’ve helped in the past four years, the lives you’ve changed, and how, as a community, we can do more, we can help more, and we can end this blight on our community.
