Talk story with Rex Lokeni about the Worldwide Sailing Voyage.

The Hokule’a is a traditional Polynesian sailing vessel that recently completed a 3-year, worldwide voyage with a mission to promote caring for our Island Earth in face of rising seas and other climate change impacts, especially as it relates to indigenous communities. Rex Lokeni, a native Samoan and Attleboro resident, was on the Hokule’a crew.

Check out www.hokulea.com for more information about the Polynesian Voyaging Society, the Hokule’a, the Worldwide Voyage, and the current voyages.

This even is sponsored by the Attleboro Area Sustain-Ability Group and Attleboro Area SURJ (showing up for racial justice).
