Legacies of Resistance is a fall series seeking to address various topics affecting our LGBTQ youth of color. Through this event, we hope to equip our youth with the knowledge and tools to flourish and persist during these capricious times where our LGBTQ youth of color are constantly under threat. We deem that the speakers’ stories, experiences, and skills will continue to liberate our youth.

The September fall panel, Love is Love: Celebrating & Navigating LGBTQ Relationships, will feature panelists who are/were in relationships where members of the relationship have various intersecting identities (race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.). We hope that this fruitful discussion will touch upon such topics like healthy communication, support, and struggles and successes of being in LGBTQ relationships.

Free food, drinks, and HIV testing will be available during the event. In addition, prizes will be raffled to attendees. Note that some sensitive topics will be discussed during the panel.
