On behalf of the Diploma Plus Staff and students we invite you to join us as DP students host and participate in an academic conference responding to the question:

How does the legacy of colonization continue to affect the world?

Students will present research and literary analysis dissecting how the history of colonization has impacted the world. Presentations will be based on the specific histories of several colonized nations and on the impact of colonization on the economic and political development of colonized nations and the psyche of colonized people. They will also discuss ways in which people have resisted and continue to resist colonial oppression as well as contributing their own ethical judgements as to the moral burden of citizens living in current neo-colonial nations.

Friends, family and interested members of the public are welcome!
