Dismiss the Drug War!
Creative Action
April 18 4-6pm
Downtown Crossing

The Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts has forced prosecutors to dismiss tens of thousands of convictions from the Hinton Drug Lab scandal. Thousands of our neighbors have been waiting to hear their case is dismissed so they can finally get some relief from the burden of having a tainted conviction on their record. We’ve won part of the fight – but we will keep going.

On the day when the DAs release the list of cases they’re dismissing, we say DISMISS THE DRUG WAR! We’re calling for reparations for the drug lab victims and for an end to all drug arrests.

Join us for a creative community action to ask what could happen if we divested from police, prosecutions, and prisons. What could we have instead?

Healing! Housing! Health care! Dignified employment! Well being!
