DESCRIPTION: Tinctures are alcohol or vinegar liquid extractions of an herb’s medicinal properties used as drops, alone or in blends for healing. In this class I’ll explain the important role of the bitter flavor in digestive health as well as the properties of the herbs we’ll use. You’ll then each make your own classic bitter tincture from herbs we’ll provided. Through this process you’ll learn the basic procedure to making an herbal tincture from any healing plant. If possible, please bring a 4 oz jar (app) for making your tincture. I’ll also have some jars on hand. Geared for adults, but school age children accompanied by a parent are welcome.

Suggested donation (sliding scale): $10 – $50. No one is turned away for lack of funds!
