What is the role of art in the resistance to oppression? How are local organizations and students getting organized in this time? How can art break social barriers in our everyday lives? Join us for a night with artists and activists to talk about the role of art in movement building!

Event Speakers include:
1. Bethany Nelson and EmersonTHEATRE students; On “pushing back” with theatre and writing
2. Liza Ryan, Director of Organizing at MIRA: On organizing and the Safe Communities Act
3. Yasser Munif: on the role of public art in toppling authoritarian Middle East regimes
4. Tamera Marko/Proyecto Carrito: On crossing (social) borders on our campuses through writing and art.
