Join the producers of A People’s History at ZUMIX for an evening of radio and music. We’ll be hanging out with light refreshments and hearing some stories from the pilot podcast’s first season, ‘The Point: Resistance and Rebellion in Boston Public Housing.’ The radio stories explore mass evictions, the loss of public housing, and how it all relates to the housing scene in East Boston today.
7pm: Doors open
9pm: Podcast listening + conversation with the producers
Co-producers Conor Gillies, Rosie Busiakiewicz and Rehanna Fernandez Nuñez, a ZUMIX alum!, will share more about the project. A People’s History is produced by Jacobin Magazine with support from the Economic Hardship Reporting Project.
